Description

The building industry remains a key catalyst for the climate crisis. However, the current deficit of affordable housing and cultural infrastructure presents a unique paradigm shift. By rethinking how we utilize the existing built environment, architects can unlock the transformative potential of our current building stock to meet both ecological and social needs.

Adaptive reuse is more than a design method; it is an ecological, economic, and social imperative. It transforms existing urban fabrics and embodied carbon into new civic infrastructure.
